Professional Development

ENGAGED LEARNING, ACHIEVEMENT AND HUMOR CONFERENCE. I was able to attend this great conference in Chicago on how to incorporate humor into professional development. I learned a lot and enjoyed the opportunity.

Unfortunately I have been sick for two months and was not doing well at the conference. I have been diagnosed with mono, so am doing my best to heal as there is much to do.

EdTech Regional Cadre Grants

We are fortunately able to fund all the EdTech Regional Cadre District and ESD grants. We are thrilled to announce the awards to:

  • Virginia Petitt, Southern Oregon ESD

  • Joe Buglione, Umatilla Morrow ESD

  • Mark Freeman and Tim Welch, La Grande and Baker School Districts

  • Connie Eastburn, Blachly, Mapleton and Siuslaw Districts

  • Lynn Lary, Springfield School District

  • Corin Richards, Willamette ESD

  • Steve Prull, High Desert ESD

  • Alex Allen, Harrisburg School District

OETC will pay the ESD grants and ODE will pay the district grants. We are excited about the replication of cadres across the state. YIPPEE!!
